I "think" the one you describe would be for an '81. Could be wrong but that what I think.

I thought that 79 and 80 were same, but 81 lever was different.

Don't cut the package just to take a picture.

Does it look like one in picture I posted?......with button on end for cruise...

I am not entirely sure about Harris County, but I am in Galveston county, South of Spring. I just had my 78 TA inspected a month ago and nothing required but safety inspection.....no emmisions check...
