there are bushings on the brake pedal portion, and this does fit where the old brake pedal was located, but the assembly has a solid 5/8 inch bolt (part of the clutch pedal) that has to pass through,...

I'm converting a 1968 Pontiac LeMans from automatic to 4 speed. I've taken out the brake pedal to replace it with the pedal assembly. The corrugated support has room for the 7/16 inch bolt...
