yeah, I saw its an ebay add, right now my wife (THE BOSS) would do nasty things to me if I spent 700 dollars, :). maybe after tax season! She's at least letting me look for a Catalina Enforcer.....

New rear springs on the Catalina (pics)

I spent a few hours yesterday replacing the rear coil springs on my Catalina. The rear springs were worn out and was squealing every time I hit a bump on the road.

Rubber isolater cups for 72 Fullsize

Where can I find replacement rubber coil spring isolator cups for my 1972 Catalina? Im putting in new springs and the springs didnt come with them from NAPA, and the old springs are squeaking BADLY.

I love My catalina. I also love driving it, when people see it they dont think much of it (except that its a old copcar so the driver is a cop (which I'm not, YET))...

well I had to! When I was putting it in the car and finally got it installed. I tested it and the trunk lid flew up! So I decided not to pop it unless someone was near by to catch it.

my coolant recovery tank isnt even bolted or screwed to anything. its just shoved in the front passenger side corner!

Get a four core, it takes about 2 1/4 gallons of water/coolant before its full.

what are you using to bleed the brakes?

you should have a bleeding tool, looks like a cup with a pump on it. one hose should go to the caliper, the other to the pump. pump it up to create suction...

I can drive the car when ever I want, I cover up...

I can drive the car when ever I want, I cover up the lights and decals which say "Not in Service." That way i cover the technicalities. Legally by law I am allowed to drive it underneath Illinois...
