Hi. Does anyone know the thickness of the Butyl tape used to install the front windshield and rear window on a 1965 GTO? I know it may differ slightly from car to car but there must be an average...

Bad Prep or Bad Paint

Can anyone tell me what's causing the paint to do this? I wiped the valley pan down with Brake Cleaner before painting, was that a bad move? Should I prime it before painting? Thanks.

Thanks for your response. Although I've never physically seen it, I've heard of Glyptal paint, and this doesn't look like it. It may be some other kind of paint, but I really think this is primer...
