They were used on medium duty trucks. School buses had them until about 1991 when carbs went away. 350, 366, 427 truck engines. Never heard of them on any light duty trucks.

End of "G" body production

Believe that "G" body, meaning the RWD cars, ended production in Dec '87. Some divisions continued to call them '87's (Buick) and others used '88 for their abbreviated model year.
