Someone mentioned Scorpions...with an HR set up, I've never had issues w/ Scorpions. Again, HR. Not sure of SR.

Looks like outer width is right at 60" and inner width (inside of backing plate) is 53.5.

Yeah - its a good rear end. Never used since being built and is about as strong as a coveted 12-bolt first...

Here is ID from a FB ad. Upstate SC 1000$ - but OBO. Very good running unit - nothing really to disclose on condition. OBO - love to sell, not likely to ever use.

BTW - for OP. I like conventional Valvoline VR1. Good amounts of ZDDP/phosphorus and usually prices are good.

The undersized are for builds that have had an align bore/hone on the mains. If your build hasn't then....?

I like my timing set on the tighter side as early run time usually loosens it up.

I know we are not supposed to comment - but I've got a set of these in a 68 FB that I am working on. They fit great - am swapping from auto to 4speed and fit great w/ clutch linkage, etc.
