ok here go's i want to get rid of the 403 in my 79 t/a and put the pont 400 in. can it be done while retaining the automatic trans and if so what do i need to know to do it thanks for any help

got a 79 t/a with the 403 i am putting a 2.50 inch duel exhaust system on with flowmaster 40 series original flows i need to find a good sealing header made specificaly for this car that will fit...

ok just read a post about the cfm rating on the q-jet on the 403 and some one said it was 800cfm if that is right why only 185hp ??? what is slowing this motor down
