Backfire after acceleration.

I was cruising Saturday and after a brief acceleration I had this huge backfire.
What causes this? It happens every so often. Is it timing? Carb adjustment?.
I'm running a bored and stroked 389...

Red Line Tire Help

I have a set of original Hurst Wheels
that have 225/60/14 size tires. I would like a nice set of redline radials that ride nice and soft. Any ideas on some brands and costs?

Tail light panel color?

I know it's Marimba Red on our '64's tail light panel. Does anyone have a paint code for this color?
Is the paint a matte finish? Any suggestions.

commit to putting them on, it's on they stay unless you want
to repaint the rims should you decide to take them off.
