I believe the retention clips catch the brake pedal support bracket. The wire harness with fuse in line looks like a tach feed.

Pretty solid looking, especially for a north east car and the interior looks pretty good with no visible rips in seats or door panels and even the dash area is surprisingly intact.

Saw this on Hemmings today, a clone 69 TA ragtop. The seller states it is a clone so I'm not making any accusations but the PHS posted is quite something. Obviously forged, thankfully not done...
