the splitter exhaust also used a differnt rear...

the splitter exhaust also used a differnt rear hanger than the standard exhaust did.
ths splitter hanger angled out and looked like the one in the picture and the standard hanger came straight out...

Another option is they were purchsased for the car later realizing that the tail pipes and hangers are different between the two. rendering them useless. there for sitting in a box:)

This has been discussed many times on here I think it came down to not removing the vin and data plate (how ever it is not ileagal in any way to remove the data plate)...... but cutting out the door...

I will differ with you on thew close ratio 4 speed...... for city driving and light hyway driving. I prefer the close ratio box with appropriate gears(3:90 and up). I also dont have "normal"...

yes the GTO's vs the lemans did use a different trim code. Group 5 code N also the decklid emblem is the same and the GTO's had the obvious diferent hood:)
