On mine, it was held with a u nut. Not available in catalogs, but could obtain something close @ Lowe's, ACE hardware or Pep Boys.

On the dashboard...

Just Dashes out in Van Nuys, CA. They are pricey but well worth it. Mine is 7 years old and still looks like I installed it yesterday.

Before gluing, have you flatten down the plate completely down on the bezel?

No

The 250 L6 frame mounts can ONLY use that engine. Frame mounts from a '68-'72 Chevelle/Malibu & El Camino can be used for a SB Chevy. Have corresponding sending units (lights vs gauges). Go with...

Yes.

Heard that most of the GM cars from the mid '60s to the late '70s do have the same headlamp switch. If it had been a '68 Grand Prix, Corvette, Toronado, '67/'69 Camaro or a '68/'69 GTO, they would...

On the color & how to color them.

I would either paint them black or cast iron (charcoal) gray.

You haven't thought of going to either O'reilly Auto or Auto Zone in the paint (high temperature) for the brake caliper? I bought...

There will be a gap before you mount the wheel with the screw. Once it is installed, there will be a gap, but more of .5 cm. For the horn, (particularly a custom cushion), it is a spring with a...

What is & what isn't.

The contol arms (if not too rusty) can be. Drum brakes, just scrap them for metal. Or you could use the drum itself as a base weight on a stand.

Wagon springs.

I wanted to ask have you considered wagon springs? On '68-'72 models, they have a tendency to sag.

Thank you. My '70 LeMans will have 15x6 up front (found a pair in a junkyard, where they aren't bent, but have some slight surface rust that I need to grind off & will be great). So I'll have to...

Not too sure.

Have doubts with using a B-Body from the 80's on a '73-'77 A-Body. Can't find another A-Body or a G-Body? The G-Body is a stretched A-Body. Something to keep in mind.

Two reasons.

There are two reasons why:

1) Insurance rates in the late 60's/early 70's were increasing premiums.
2) The emissions (particularly California) made it necessary to cut down on leaded gas, and was...

The Swap on the '80-later or Jeep Grand Cherokee gear box.

You will also need to get some adapters if you go this route. The corresponding rag joint on these vehicles also.

The swap.

Metric sockets and wrenches needed for the '80 and later GM and Jeep Grand Cherokee ('93-'02). Best to use again the 3/8" drive and 1/2" drive break-over bars and ratchets.

So you're swapping?

Sounds like you're doing a manual steering to power steering, correct? Will go off on a '70 LeMans/GTO, but others similar.

These parts are some to check with junkyards, ebay, APE fourm,...
