330 to the wheels seems a little underwhelming. IIRC the cam is a pretty big hydraulic roller. I'm sure the heads were holding it back quite a bit.

Jeg's is running a sale on a good looking exhaust kit right now. I just scooped one up for my 69 and it looks really nice (haven't fitted it yet) It wont be for everyone but decent for those not...

I think he said they changed heads because he wanted it to be correct on the 1969 model car. Which makes sense because they are #48s.

Anyway, I would just expect a #48 headed 400 with an 041, plus...

I just (like 2 weeks ago) had a set of Autotecs made with 2 mods (pin height and custom bore) and it was wayyyyyy under $1k with metric rings included. Great company to deal with IMO.
