Sounds like the cam deal is more of a crutch for a bad intake design, or rather poor characteristics of typical intake configurations. Seems like a single plane, two 4 bbl intake would be the better...

Correct 67 cruiser, and personally I like more distance down in the hole. I just think half of a bigger angle is more accurate than half of a small angle. It's just my preference.

Yes I run 91-93 octane, whatever they have for premium. It has been freshened once and the bearings looked perfect. No signs of detonation, no pinging, running hot, or anything.
