Removed t stat

So I finally had some time t get back after it I pulled the manifold and checked the crossover and bypass holes all good,. Reassembled and left out t stat radiator looked like Niagara Falls great...

Thanks for the reply I had prev done a block gas test and the results were neg also pressurized the system at 13lbs and it held overnight .I am sure the hoses are getting hard fron heat build up...

Yes heater is working I installed an electronic control valve as the 72 has none and it uses a blend door for a/c I am trying to see why ft of eng takes longer to get hot .

No did not block it off I pulled intake this morning to ck for blockages everything looked fine ran a drift into the timing cover and the bypass hole is open for some reason the hot coolant is taking...

Thanks for the reply I have installed 2 thermostats second one drilled bleed hole raised frt end when filling so as to not get any air pockets but you are correct it sounds like heat soak is causing...

Been a while since I have hooked one up any convenient connections on a 1972 Grand Prix have an old gauge going to waste seem to remember the starter lug and pos cable ?

T esting POA valve

Anyone save the test procedure for a POA valve used to be one but long gone ! Freezing up right at the valve . New drier and exp valve compressor was fine before pulled for eng overhaul .

Heater control removal ?

1972 G/P Heater a/c control panel removal have to pull dash ? Trying to do some diagnostics on a/c need to get to the clutch switch hands are not getting in there !

All phases of the wiper work off of grounds it just switches the ground at the motor for high low and wash power should be constant !
