It wouldn't make any sense to use the 3-tab seal in conjunction with anything if it splits right?

To me this is very similar to the SBC intake to block seals. Everyone...

Always use a cork seal and a light coat of Ultra Black. Make sure to get the right thickness gasket. The rubber seal will split and leak like crazy! Clean first with brake clean, lacquer thinner, etc.
