I replaced mine without trouble they just dropped...

I replaced mine without trouble they just dropped out maybe the have some road crude holding them try tapping on them with a hammer nothing really holds them in other than the weight of the car good...

I installed a headliner in my 69 not long ago it went very well just let warm up in the sun and stretch the headliner front to back and the sides using a hair dryer to stretch it out. good luck
