If it were me; I'd just flush it the best i could with fresh oil or kero or whatever, change the gasket if needed, (fix the problem) put fresh oil & filter and roll.

It had a performer manifold w/ Qjet, unknown cam, and stock manifolds.
That engine ran fantastic, and still runs...
