Too bad you are not in Nevada, I can repair that and would. I have many, many hours repairing 8n, 9n 2n's and the like. you cannot kill an 8n, only wreck it and then fix it. All parts are available....

I bought a 63 421 short block over the Pontiac parts counter years ago to use as a basis for a SD engine. I have that engine in my shop and it does not, nor has it ever had any numbers stamped on it....
