I installed a pertronix in mine without any problems. Not sure what the kickdown switch has to do with the ignition. You do need to use a switched 12V source for the pertronix and not the same...

TH400 won't down shift to Low

My TH400 shifts normally up through 1, 2 & 3 but when I come to a stop it does not drop back into 1. If I put it in Neutral and then Drive, it will go into 1. If I drop it into 1 and back into...
