Mike, in your opinion, what do you think the length is from where the cable hooks up to the tranny and the rear of dash?.....Do you think it would be 60 something inches or 80 something...

Richmond Gear www.richmondgear.com has a tech support line....You can either call or email them.....I'm not seeing any sort of ring gear spacer on their website so one can only assume it's not...

According to Richmond Gears, if you are replacing 2.56, 2.79, 2.93, 3.08 & 3.23 gears, you must use a higher series carrier (3.36+ carrier).....I don't believe spacers are available for this rear...

Could it possibly be a burned out fusable link (the small diameter wire on positive side of cable)?....Or it sounds like a loose or broken wire connection at the starter?

I installed that same thing only on a 68 Firebird Coupe....Any installation issues I had, which were a few, turned out to be my fault, not paying close attention to the wiring instruction...

What would cause a hard brake pedal feel either on manual or power brakes?....You know, the kind of feel where it takes alot of effort on the brake pedal to stop the car.
