To install the staples, drill holes and then bend over the staples after inserting them.

Don't think that is correct. 70' RA III cars had a single snorkel base. 71' and 72's has the dual snorkel bases.

Jan and Feb show cars ( Detroit) and the Daytona race parade cars had black. They are only ones I have ever seen black from factory. Goodyear tires were used more than most think as well.
