I would try shoes from a bath tub Roadmaster / Caprice or a 1/2 ton Chevy pick-up....

John, It's really hard to notice the second to first downshift as this is accomplished by the filling or draining of the coupling. You can't adjust the first to second shift point with the TV rod....

Here is a video of the 60919 with regular lifters in a 455. I tried Rhoads lifters, I prefer the regular lifters. The 60919 cam in a 455 has a mellow lope with all kinds of low end torque....
