Thanks for all the advice.
Removed the front cover, used magnet to remove the broken chunk out of the oil pan, drained oil pan & flushed with gas.
Let dry overnight.
New oil , filter , damper,...

Broken Harmonic Damper on Firebird 400

Well, after 50 years the stock harmonic damper decided to fracture by the key way. Any advice on a proper repair procedure?
We think pieces of the mounting hub are still in the oil pan....

Engine Clutch Ball Broke ; Major Pain to fix?

The clutch mounting ball that the Z-bar pivots on decided to break this past weekend.(what the heck, almost 50 years old!)
This is the shaft/ball that screws into the engine block.
It sheared off...

I watched the sale last night and the 285K bid+ 18% was certainly respectable but also lower than I had hoped it would have gone for. I guess the convertibles will continue to be the high water marks...

Look for the twin 69 T/A's , real coupe & tribute convertible.
Both of last year's cruises were hampered by rain.
