On my '67 w/ AC, if the ignition switch is ON, the fan should run only IF the controls are not set to OFF. If they are set to heat, AC, or vent, the fan should run.

I'll bet! I "fondly" remember when I replaced the original bushings. It was not that much fun, and I'm a lot older now. At least I know to stay away from poly bushings and SS brake lines now.
