I have sucessfully pressed out the rollers and reinstalled them. Its been years ago (mid to late 90s), but i used a bench vise, a socket deep enough to allow brace the roller yet allow the hardware...

Each year in the 70's had a separate keyway ("K" blank I believe) as well as code (Exxx and Fxxx )for the specific year. Likely an amended list for the dealer for 78 year.

I haven't done it, but the newer late 70's Rochestor carbs had electric choke springs you may try to incorporate.

Incorrect mounts, shorter tranny mounts instead of tall tempest engine mounts installed. Distributor cracked or bent from jacking up the motor to replace them. Ground straps broken from motor mounts...

We have plenty parts out here that don't sell locally as it is. I don't have connections...
