They were just total seal 1/16" classic race...
They were just total seal 1/16" classic race rings so I do not believe they were low tension.

I definitely staggered the rings and installed them with markings up. So If they were labeled wrong it would have to be every single one? Its kind of hard to believe but I guess it is possible.

I did oil up the pistons and rings by hand when installing. Im wondering too if using to much arp assembly lube on fasteners could put to much moly in my oil and cause this issue.

Holbrook Racing in Livonia. They do a lot of ford stuff but know Pontiacs and have good attention to detail. For crankshaft work I recommend Adney Brown at Performance Crankshaft in Ferndale.
