So just an update. Put the engine on the dyno yesterday. Made 563hp and 571 torque. we ran it up to 6000 rpm. I had a mechanic look at the block and we decided to go ahead with the Cometic gaskets....

I currently run 3.31's with 26" tires behind my 465 and 4l80e combo. 75mph is about 2400 rpm or so. I think with a 27" tire I'd want a 3.55 in the rear.

That said, even with the shallow 3.31's...
