Darth, the suggestion I made won't eliminate heat in the cabin, but should reduce it some.

You might be able to install a Petcock on the heater core inlet hose.

Hi Kdr, I had that problem of flooding. Check timing and choke adjustment. I'm certain it's a little of both. Where in n.j. did you live? I used to near Cherry Hill.
