If the only changes were cam, rods and heads, I'd say the combo needed tuned to those new changes? Intake specs to work with the heads, carb change to work with the new specs, cam wrong for head...

As Paul said, mine were 1.81" installed. When I put a roller in I used CC 999 springs which did not need any work to install. That cam ran great. (HO-Racing used in their SD SS TA)

Some alternators have a threaded hole for a ground attachment. Wouldn't hurt to add a wire there to battery.

This reminded me of my grandson's door latch on...

This reminded me of my grandson's door latch on his S-10.
His had a sagging hinge, and his constant slamming I think broke or bent something in the latch.
