what is the device mounted on the inner part of the air cleaner( where the filter would sit) called and what is its function. Are replacements available for it, and is it needed in this day and age?

I drained and changed filter and added B&H...

I drained and changed filter and added B&H Trickshift to my 1970 TH400 in the 70 Grand Prix....seems to be working well

Look what I found

1970 Grand Prix SJ.... 78 years old, original owner lady I am handing the check to. Funky wheels, but she had original wheels along with lug nuts and 8-12 center caps. She said people used to steal...

My supposed to be original leather interior has different panels...my panels match the interior roof, identical material....????
