That's how I run mine...MSD 6AL box with 2step...
That's how I run mine...MSD 6AL box with 2step box pluged in...then to an adjustable rpm control box hidden in the glove box of my 4-spd console. Wired into my line lock. Turn the dial up to 5500 rpm...

Running a non-too-radical 455 in my 69 GTO...out of the box KRE heads, Crower 60919 cam (RA4), RPM intake, Qjet, Dougs headers, 10.4 compression, full MSD ignition, 4-spd, 12-bolt 3.42 gear.

Cliff...geez what a nightmare you have...my sympathies. At least this G8 has rather impressive write-ups as quality control and fit/finish seems top notch. I guess I'm just venting disappointment...

You guys hear of this new pulse plug...claims 4% to 12% increased power. Expensive...$25/plug. But if delivers as claimed...may be worth it.

My engine combo is similar to your except cam....
My engine combo is similar to your except cam. I'm running Crower 60919 (231/240, with 517 lift using 1.65 rockers)
On the chasis dyno...got it to 424 hp, 487 lbs torque...all done at 5200 rpm....
