That really is the cheapest and quickest thing to try first. I don’t think existing studs can accomodate 1/2” but trying out 1/4” should be fine. After all the car almost never goes above 55.

Do you know if I can replace the studs on my front hubs and insert a spacer to get your kit to clear? Have you heard of anyone trying it?

Near the end of scare bird front disc conversion and stuck. Wheel question

I still have the stock steely‘s on my 1964 Pontiac Catalina. The conversion is complete and now has an S 10 booster as well, however this current generation of the scarebird bracket does not clear...
