Depends on how you drive the car….with a stick and relatively short gearing this should definetely be an improvement but still on the driveable side of things. I had a Comp cam with 218/224 in my 78...

The numbers on the front of the heads tells me they are 72 cc D-ports….i know they came from Butler....could they have CNC´d the Chambers to make them larger?

We have now disconnected the tranny from the engine. The engine revs top fine on its own....so it seems to be the converter. I may have to ad that the tranny makes a loud hissing sound when driving...

Yeah, could be...but that converter is virtually new....a bit pricey to buy another one to test this thesis....but still cheaper than a rebuild...

This is a very well done car. I think what hurts it is the fact that it is not a GTO. On the price I would think that 35k you are asking is not too high considering all the good stuff that went in...
