Carb cleaner is in the same price range as Brakclean and it cleans oil and grease better than something designed for brakes.

Yes it is. I bet you could take a IA2 and make a plate and sleeve the whole thing and end up with something better than any welded cast iron. There will always be a heat line, no way around that....

I was able to run 11.00 with Tomahawk. About a tenth and a half slower than my Warrior. Its a pretty good intake for iron heads IMO.

Thanks Tom. I will at least call ATI and see what a upgrade to 4 bolt and press fit cost. The ATI is 395$ and the BHJ is 535 $ so if its 140$ or less for the work its a option.
