Personally, I would never paint a car that someone else has done the body work, primer, and surfacer on proclaiming it to be "paint ready" and take it for granted that it is, indeed, ready for paint....

I suggest replacing all the hoses as a precaution as you can't be sure what the previous owner may have allowed get into them. As for a dryer you can search the forums and see what others have done...
