rickw, you are correct you would need the gto grills and headlight bezels( the LeMans are both different)
and Greg is correct you would have to fabricate the "C" shaped brackets that hold in the gto...

Thank you everyone for the quick reply’s. It sounds like the pink HEI wire to the pos on coil is the first choice, since it's not the resistor wire but I replaced the whole engine wire harness...

How to hook up a MSD ready to run dist from a HEI
I presently have a HEI in a '68 LeMans with an upgraded wire harness for HEI (pink wire with connector) .
I want to go to a MSD ready to run 8528 dist. Instructions say to hook a switched wire...

Update
Update, got the car back yesterday,all fixed and runs sweet, no knocking or lifter noise like the first time, real powerful.
I saw the cam, and the 10th lobe from the front was totally wiped and...

Someone else suggested bad or not properly heat treated cam or lifter.

I had a different builder rebuild my grandfather's 66 chevy 6 cyl a couple of years ago....

So would you be able to use the JC code drum...
So would you be able to use the JC code drum brake rally 2 wheel from the '68 GTO on an "a" body with the '69-72 disc brake conversion.
Or would they just not fit the '68 4 piston caliper disc used...
