and Greg is correct you would have to fabricate the "C" shaped brackets that hold in the gto...

Someone else suggested bad or not properly heat treated cam or lifter.

I had a different builder rebuild my grandfather's 66 chevy 6 cyl a couple of years ago....

So would you be able to use the JC code drum brake rally 2 wheel from the '68 GTO on an "a" body with the '69-72 disc brake conversion.
Or would they just not fit the '68 4 piston caliper disc used...
