Aside from "old gasoline", i suspect a wore Cam EXH lobe. But maybe a rotor-phasing needs verified. The rare-but-possible is a shorted Sparkplug.

Had that design in my 68 GTO; an excellent wheel if you have a tilt column. Just a darn good wheel if you can get in and out like i could.

Urethane with stain make a nice looking result and feel....

Might well remove PS belt too to remove doubt on pulleys.

You will fell better knowing without doubt. Check rocker looseness. Re-lash on base...

Otherwise my 472 ran the 1/4 to 12.2s on 89 Octane, no ping, because 9.00:1 CR was too low.

You all are safe to design for 9.5:1...

If the Tag says 70 Py, then okay. The numbers stamped on the tag might infer an internal build code/sequence. Not sure if in infers a dated code.
