Look at iron vs aluminum LS engines. I've never seen things like bolts loosening up, or piston height...

Hmm when I had the OHC 6 and 3 speed in my 67 Firebird, I assumed the bellhousing was the same as a V8. I sold the bellhousing with the engine.

My 68 was a sprint car, but someone put a 400 in it...
