Even if all that had been done to a Firebird , I'd rather have a stock Firebird.
They don't disclose the VIN to confirm the X digit , but it does appear to have factory roundport cylinder heads.

I suspect the 3/8 fuel line and mechanical fuel pump, coupled with the small fuel bowl being the main contributors to the problem.
