The upper picture looks flatter than what I have, the lower looks about the same as what I have. Hmmm .. wonder if my shop lights are making things seem a lot worse than they are.

I just ordered some SEM Matte ... which hopefully is pretty flat. The SEM low luster clear is one of their vinyl paints ... the SEM Matte I think is for hard parts. I'm doing the metal upper dash so...

Yep, my major concern is reflections off the dash...

Yep, my major concern is reflections off the dash ... in the shop, with the overhead lights it's pretty bad the way it is, even with what is suppose to be the right paint.

Dead Flat rattle can clear

Does anyone make a dead flat clear rattle can? I need to top coat my upper dash. The Rustoleum "Matte" clear I tested still appears to have too much gloss. I see SEM makes a "Matte" clear ... pretty...
