Unless something changed in the past 10 years there was only one manufacturer that was making the 68-70 repop hood.

I used to sell them through the Parts Place and the feed back was very good. ...

All I have is a bag of clips and no way of knowing the location for each one... I should of had the guy take photos of disassemble for me.

To keep my hardware from rusting I use clear nail...

To keep my hardware from rusting I use clear nail polish.. enamel.. seems to work well. It does give it slight gloss.. maybe 60%
Comes with its own brush and no clean up... just put the brush back...

Don't forget to mark the location of the driveshaft before removing it... its a step I always forget when I remove them... not sure if it matters if you are replace u-joints...

I'm in the same boat... but my car was missing a engine and trans... so I have to hunt down all the parts to make it whole again..

Quick question ... the thermostat housing looks like its wrong...

So I put the engine in and the RH side lower bolt...

So I put the engine in and the RH side lower bolt was way to close to the oil pan.. so I flipped it over.. The Engine seems way too close on the rh side compared to the LH side. is that correct?

Engine mount frame brackets.

Hey guys,

Does the bolt come up from the bottom and nut and lock washer on top? That seems like the easy way to do it..
On my tear down they were both ways... I'm sure they were out at some...
