Feels like its out of gas?

When at like a stoplight or stop sign the car shuts off like its not getting any gas. It starts right back up though. what do you guys think it is? Its a stock 1977 400 firebird

So how about a crash course on home porting?

I'm 17 and dont have money for porting so I'm looking to home port my pair of #62's.. I have Jim Hands book and am wondering if anyone had somthing to add/various methods/tips.
