Maybe push the compression a tad.....9.3to 1 if possable,, but not a deal breaker. Deck the block and heads untill there FLAT!
Your cam (roller) numbers are definitely in the range of a fun street...

Visually its not looking very well....I dont think I would put to much effort into it,,, unless you have all the tools to really check the lobe out.
Replace with something NEW....IMO

Check the Roundness on that lifter hole vs a few others..... I had one, on a ford that would not spin....had to bush the ONE lifter hole.

do you recall which oil might have that high of level of moly?
I do have Driven XP9 syn (10w-40)at my...

There is always that risk of something going wrong.... I have not given up on flat tappet cams (HYD or Solid)...
But I do my best to use all the tools that are available.... And for Pontiac engines...

Most likely the engine should come apart.... I would guess it needs a valve job for sure.... and...

may I suggest Howards Hyd Roller #418005-09 its there smallest Rattler cam.
and I would use 1.65 rocker arms, if your springs can handle...

I have it in 350 with a baby stall converter, works very good IMO
