It would help keep the frame rail where the power steering box is, from cracking.
I love the original wonderbars, and you can find them...

I have seen them sell for alot more, up to $600.00 a set, with no marks or scrapes.
Redone, with new paint, same.
Used, with marks and scrapes, I have seen up to $400 at times.

The acorn nut style center caps will interchange between the Firebird/Trans Am wheels ofthe second and third gen wheels.
Except for the early third gen 16 inch wheels.
It will fit on the later 16...
