the journey for me is where all the fun is..... my 70 rear has numerical faint date codes on the axle somewhere, but here is a shot of 2 letter ID. XH for 1970 I believe = 3:55 saf-t-trac.

lol......keeping in mind I was using O.E.M. w/w moldings, (repop moldings were not mfg'ed yet) so I naturally blamed the repop 1/4'rs........... I believe the install of moldings, will go smoother...

I had the same problem years back. had the wife...

I had the same problem years back. had the wife get in the car and push pedal while I got underneath and viewed rod,z bar etc... as pedal began to be pushed, I was amazed how much things in general...

been a long time but as I recall, I ended up...

been a long time but as I recall, I ended up cutting mine (aftermarket) to fit. I think it was the only easy way to help get gaps right and allow easy hood close. good luck.

at tcap (twin cities assembly) we had an area in paint that would hold like 36 units (bodies) in case of a back up from chassis, final assembly, etc....sometimes these units would sit for days before...
