Thanks for all the input! I've decided on using Valvoline Maxlife 10W-30. Considering it gets changed below 1000 miles, it should be fine.

Thanks for the advise! I should have mentioned that it'll be used in my '64 GTO but I think the advise is still good. 10W-30 will work fine in the old GOAT.

No more leak!

Leak is fixed with the new o-ring on the case connector for the downshift solenoid! Thanks for all the info guys! Couldn't have figured it out as quickly without you!

Transmission pan leak

Changed the pan gasket on my 2-spd transmission on my '64 GTO. Torqued it very lightly at first. Still leaked. Retorqued to about 30 in/lbs. Still leaking. Have heard not to over torque bolts so...
