On the 67 GTO with parchment interior, the inside trim pieces, end caps, and tops of the doors and rear quarters are to be painted Cameo Ivory. That will match the headliner.

Same issue

I had the same issue on my 67. I had link issues and rag joint clearance to header issues. I installed the Ames spacers. No drilling and the problem is solved.
