67 gto gauge lens:

Replacing the gauge lens in my 67 gto. Does it have to be glued in place before assembling it together or does it stay in place when you screw the gauge assembly to the instrument bezel? I'm not sure.

I was going to glue the vinyl/aluminum backing plate assembly to the instrument bezel this morning and noticed there was a 1/16-1/8" gap between the plate and the edge of the bezel on both sides....

The parts place did end up giving me a refund on the gauge lens and I also did not have to return the defective lenses so all is good.

Does anyone know where to get this type of tape. I have searched the web with no luck. I don't want to use vinyl electrical tape. It is the tape used on wiring harnesses.
