Installed intake with seperated water and exhaust crossover

Modified 9799068 intake and seperated water crossover.
Used repop exhaust crossover.
Drove it Sunday and she ran excellent weather 55-60.
There will be a lot more testing in summertime!!!!

Been running the on Melling SPC-7 for about 8 years. tech said breakin oil
was key and they really work best with 10w30 to pass oil instantly down to lobe at startup.

That’s exactly the same pitting mine had on bearings and race.
Only in the top side, where no oil was.

I have perfected the oil change procedure.
First take her out for a nice ride early morning and grab bagels on the way home.

Pump pressure

Summit sells a kit to adj pressure.
It goes into output port on pump.
The kit contained shims to control
Bypass volume and thus lowered output
Pressure.
When I put a new pump in I did not...

Stuck float/needle and seat

Try tapping with plastic end of screwdriver on side of carb.
Sounds like fuel evaporated and needle is stuck and not
Letting fuel into carb. Also try filling carb thru vent as
Fuel may help...
