Tried flipping the clips, no go.

Got a piece of 0.050" clear plexiglass material. Cut it into 2" x 1.5" pieces. Drilled and elongated the holes then used tacky spray to glue into place.

Didn't try flipping them over, thought that wouldn't line up correctly, I'll take a look to see if that works.
